Gliko Mesh® is a synthetic absorbable sterile copolymer synthesized from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (derived from glycolic and lactic acids).
Gliko Mesh has been developed to provide temporary support for wounds during the healing process. In surgical procedures, it can be easily cut and shaped according to the surgeon’s requirements. Thanks to its absorbable structure, Gliko Mesh is especially preferred in the treatment of hernias in children, offering a safe and effective solution.
Gliko Mesh is available in undyed (natural, beige) and purple form.
GLIKO-Mesh porous can be used whenever temporary wound or organ support is required, especially instances where conformable and stretchable support is desired.
GLIKO-Mesh can be cut to the desired shape or size for each specific application.
